[Installation & Setup](http://support.proofvision.co.uk/knowledge-base-proofvision/bathroom-tvs?hsLang=en#installation-setup) # Bathroom TV wiring guidance ProofVision bathroom TVs are supplied with a 240v IEC lead and 12v DC transformer, the total length is around 1.8m. There are 2 ways of connecting the bathroom TV to the power: 1. **Existing socket** You can run the 240v IEC lead and plug in to a 3-pin plug socket. This needs to be outside the bathroom, so its recommended the socket is either in a loft-space or another room for access. We recommend that all electrical work is carried out by a qualified electrician or authorised installer competent with electrics.
